Huawei SmartAX EA5800 X15 is positioned as the next-generation OLT for NG-PON supporting 15 service slots, and provides GPON, XG-PON, XGS-PON, P2P GE, and 10GE access, and supports POL, FTTH, FTTB, and FTTC network construction modes. Thus it simplifies network architecture and reduces OPEX.

Huawei SmartAX EA5800 X15 is the industry’s first distributed architecture intelligent aggregation OLT platform to help customers build a “broader, faster, smarter” access network and provide a better business experience. Huawei SmartAX EA5800 X15 provides multiple services such as xPON, P2P GE, and 10GE. It supports multiple network models including FTTx and D-CCAP to implement full-service convergence for home users, enterprise users, and mobile bearers. Huawei SmartAX EA5800 X15 combines the functions of an OLT and an aggregation switch to achieve unified aggregation of OLTs, MDUs, and campus switches, helping to simplify network architecture and reduce operating costs.
