The AirEngine 9700-M1 is a high-performance wireless access controller (AC) for large- and medium-sized enterprise campuses, enterprise branches, and school campuses. When used with Huawei’s access points (APs), the AirEngine 9700-M1 can be used to construct large- and medium-sized networks, enterprise office networks, wireless Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs), and hotspot coverage.
The AirEngine 9700-M1 has the following characteristics:
- Large capacity and high performance: The AirEngine 9700-M1 provides 12 x GE electrical ports, 12 x 10GE optical ports, and 2 x 40GE optical ports. The AirEngine 9700-M1 provides up to 120 Gbit/s forwarding performance and can manage a maximum of 2048 APs. From V200R022C10, the AirEngine 9700-M1 can manage a maximum of 3072 APs.
- High flexibility: flexible data forwarding modes, including direct forwarding and tunnel forwarding and fine-grained user rights management with user- and role-based access control.
- Abundant O&M methods: various network O&M methods, including eSight, web system, and Command Line Interface (CLI).
